Warranty

Auto Adventure Inc. offers our customers a choice of 6 warranties. The standard warranty all parts come with is a 30-day parts only replacement warranty.
We offer the opportunity to choose your own warranty program, Parts only or Parts and Labor is another valued service Auto Adventure Inc. provides to our customers.

Types of Warranties

1. Standard Parts Only Warranty – Parts Only Warranty for 30 Days
This will protect the original purchaser for a period of 30 days from the invoice date for replacement only of the failed part, as outlined in our limited warranty policy.

2. Extended Parts Warranty  – Parts Only Warranty for 90 Days
This will protect the original purchaser for a period of 6 months from the invoice date for replacement only of the failed part, as outlined in our limited warranty policy.

3. Extended Parts Warranty – Parts Only Warranty – Parts Only Warranty for 6 Months
This will protect the original purchaser for a period of 6 months from the invoice date for  replacement only of the failed part, as outlined in our limited warranty policy.

4. Extended Parts & Labor Warranty – Parts and Labor Warranty for 6 Months
This will protect the original purchaser for a period of 6 months from the invoice date for  replacement of the failed part & labor to have it reinstalled, as outlined in our limited warranty policy.

5. Extended Parts & Labor Warranty – Parts and Labor Warranty for 12 Months
This will protect the original purchaser for a period of 12 months from the invoice date for  replacement of the failed part & labor to have it reinstalled, as outlined in our limited warranty policy.

6. Lifetime Parts Only Warranty. This will protect the original purchaser for as long as they own the vehicle. This warranty does not cover labor.


General Provisions

This warranty becomes effective on original date purchase; it cannot be purchased at a later time. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the part and only, it is not transferable, as long as the part is still installed in the vehicle for which it was originally purchased for a standard of 30 days, or longer if an extended warranty is purchased. Auto Adventure shall, at its sole discretion, provide either a replacement part, in-store credit or a refund. If any defect is discovered during the warranty period, Auto Adventure must be informed immediately. All claims must be accompanied by the part and the original sales receipt. Defects must be verified and all work under this warranty authorized by Auto Adventure. We ask that the vehicle be returned to the original installation facility. The liability and obligation of Auto Adventure under this warranty shall not exceed the amount of time period shown on the original invoice and shall not include any inconvenience, transportation, towing (including towing to any repair facility), down time, or direct or indirect or consequent damage, or delay resulting from any defect. Any improper use, abuse (including but not limited to overheating of low oil in engines and transmissions), neglect, careless handling, damage done by improper installation or repairs or removal of a part from vehicle in which it was first installed after purchase from Auto Adventure shall void this warranty. Auto Adventure Inc. pays labor rate based on All Data Time and Labor Manual. Labor costs, including the cost of moving attached external parts from the purchaser’s old part to Auto Adventures’ part, seals, gaskets, fluids and similar supplies are specifically excluded from the warranty, unless extended parts and labor warranty was purchased at time of original invoice.

1. Engines: Auto Adventure warrants to the original purchaser the internal parts of its engines to be free of defects for a period of 30 days or longer dependant upon warranty purchased at time of original invoice.
Used engines are guaranteed against knock and excessive smoke.
We do not warranty against oil leaks of any kind.
Engine accessories included in sale are not under warranty.
Used cylinder heads are guaranteed against cracks at time of sale.
We do not certify mileage on used parts.
We strongly recommend installing a new timing belt and water pump on all engines prior to operation. We will not warranty any engine due to a failed belt.

2. Transmissions: Auto Adventure warrants to the original purchaser its transmission to be free of defects for a period of 30 days or longer dependant upon warranty purchased at time of original invoice. The parts covered by this warranty are the transmission case and all internal parts including the torque converter. Excluded from this warranty are the transmission mounts, shifting linkage, flywheel, all other external parts and problems that result from not installing new front and rear main seals and transmission filter when installing the transmission. Transmission cooling systems must be flushed.
We strongly recommend a thorough cleaning of the transmission cooling system and lines prior to operation. We do not warranty against contaminated cooling systems.
We strongly recommend replacing all seal, gaskets and filters prior to operation. We do not warranty against any transmission against oil leaks of any kind.

3. Other Parts: Auto Adventure warrants to the original purchaser that recycled parts sold to be free of defects for a period of 30 days or longer dependant upon warranty purchased at time of original invoice. Properly installed and refinished sheet metal parts are guaranteed for an amount up to their original price against rust and corrosion for 1 year from the date of purchase. All parts are warranted for OEM installation only. Any non stock use, i.e. crossing model lines or year spans voids this warranty. Anti-lock brake parts and SRS system parts are non eligible for coverage.
All warranties are NON-TRANSFERABLE. All claims on extended warranty must be authorized by your salesman prior to having repair done. Failure to follow the above required procedures may result in voiding extended warranty.

Terms and Conditions

Auto Adventure warranty to the purchaser that all parts are serviceable and functional at the time of sale. If a part is found to be defective with in the warranty period from date purchased, Auto Adventure shall, at its sole discretion provide either a replacement parts, in store credit or a refund.

Without exception, Auto Adventure is not responsible for and will not pay any amount for loss caused from installation, removable, repair, replacement, or use of this merchandise, regardless of the circumstances.

Without exception, Auto Adventure is not responsible for and will not refund any installation cost incurred for any part unless covered by the extended warranty.

Returns and refunds

No RETURNS ON ELECTRICAL PARTS ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
All returns must be accompanied by the sales receipt.
All returns or refunds must be made within 48 hours and are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

NO RETURNS ON THE FOLLOWING PARTS
• Deposits
• Special order or brokered parts
• Body sections cut to order
• Parts dismantled or modified in any way by purchaser for any reason.
